Synopsis
A morning like every other finds an elderly couple getting on with their daily routine. The loss of youth, social and professional activity intensifies the old man’s obsessions and he is found desperately trying to find meaning in his life. His fixation with «making money» takes him through the day without being touched by the loneliness of his wife.

A Word From The Director
A friend once told me an incident involving his grandfather which immediately became an inspiration to me. Drawing also from personal experiences and my impression of today’s society resulted in the script of “Dead End”!
At a time when Cyprus is in the heart of talks concerning Europe’s financial state, a morning like every other finds an elderly couple getting on with their daily routine. The loss of social and professional activity intensifies the old man’s obsessions and he is found desperately trying to find meaning in his life. The extreme lack of communication between them, the old man’s indifference and his fixation with «making money», stresses the dependency of today’s society on capital thus losing the important notions of family and relationships.
